MONTE VISTA MARCHING BAND
Marching Band is an active, competitive, and friendly campus group that is open to all MVHS students. This award-winning program has three components--Marching Band (MB), Color Guard (CG), and Drum Line (DL). Freshmen receive one semester of Fine Arts credit and Sophomores through Seniors can choose either Fine Arts or PE credit.
Marching Band kicks off with our summer camp from July 28 to August 5th. After school and weekend practices and competitions continue through the fall. (Final dates will appear on the 26-27 MBCG Calendar when confirmed).
Any MV student can come experience Marching Band through the camp.
NO pre-registration required for the camp and there is no camp cost to try it.
Families will be asked to contribute to the MV Keynoters at the Marching Band rate should your student decide to join.
Just turn up and try it!!
During the school season the band competes in 3-5 competitions in Northern California, performs at home football games and pep rallies, and participates in various other events. Click the buttons below for our latest schedule.
Weekly email bulletins during the marching band season will provide information on upcoming competitions, practices, and everything you need to know to participate. If you're not receiving these regular bulletins, email marchingband@mvkeynoters.org to be added to the distribution list.
You can also follow our Keynoters Instagram page.
It's a great way to stay in the loop, get calendar reminders of Marching Band events, and see great photos and videos!
