Welcome to the Instrumental Music (IM) program at Monte Vista High School.

Our award-winning program includes Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, two Jazz Bands, Marching Band and Color Guard.

The IM program is under the direction of Ed Cloyd.

Monte Vista Keynoters is a non-profit 501(c)3 parent booster group that provides the funds and volunteers required to operate the program.

 Your Instrumental Music Donation for all classes can be made either online through Future Fund (Donate Button Above) or by check payable to MV Keynoters.


2021-22 Suggested Class Donations:

Marching Band - $750

Jazz A - $700

Jazz B - $600

Wind Ensemble - $350

Orchestra - $350

Symphonic - $200

Multi Class *Discount - (-$200)

*If your student takes two classes take $200 off your total donation!

Please make your donation to Keynoters, the parent-run booster group that provides the funds necessary to operate the Instrumental Music Program.


All expenses for the Instrumental Music Program, except for our Director’s salary, are paid for by Keynoters.
